Tools for machining are enabled as \u201csmart objects\u201d to communicate with a higher-level database via web services and provide information about the current application in operation. <\/p>\n<p>On the one hand, the individual tools are used reliably until the end of their maximum possible service life according to the entries in their \u201clife cycle file\u201d. On the other hand, the swarm of data-collecting tools constantly generates better reference data, which enables ever \u201csharper\u201d, tried-and-tested recommendations for use. <\/p>\n<p>This creates the conditions for technology management to implement innovative business models (\u201cGoogle for the industry\u201d) that previously only worked in the consumer sector.<\/p>\n<p>A network is being created that uses the \u201cforce of the many\u201d to create a growing knowledge base that drastically reduces the need to carry out tests (\u201ccrowd intelligence\u201d).
